Every Stitch Tells a Story.
From sewing repairs to full gear restoration, we extend the life of your outdoor gear.
Our Belief
At Frontier Gear Repair in Fernie, BC, we believe outdoor gear should be built to last — and when it doesn’t, it should be repaired, not replaced. From sewing repairs on jackets and tents to restoring backpacks and technical equipment, we specialize in keeping outdoor gear out of landfills and back where it belongs: in the mountains, trails, and backcountry of the Kootenays.
The demand for gear repair in Fernie and across BC is growing as more people choose sustainable repairs over fast replacements. Every patch, zipper fix, and reinforced seam keeps valuable materials in use and supports a more circular economy for adventure. By combining skilled sewing techniques, craftsmanship, and durable materials, we give outdoor gear a longer life and reduce waste in our outdoor community.
Our mission goes beyond repair. We’re building a culture of sustainability, reuse, and resilience in the outdoor industry, with Fernie at the frontier. Whether it’s a trusted jacket, a weathered pack, or technical gear that needs care, Frontier Gear Repair provides the sewing and repair expertise to make sure your adventures continue — season after season.
